International Data Transfers
4.1 Location of Data: Our servers and main operations are located in Canada (Toronto and Montreal). By creating an account, you acknowledge that your personal data and User Content will be transferred to and processed in Canada.
4.2 Legal Basis for Transfer (EU Users): The European Commission has determined that Canada provides an adequate level of data protection (Decision 2002/2/EC) for data transfers from the EU to recipients subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Artificial Intelligence and User Content
5.1 AI Processing: MetabolIQ AI uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate suggestions and content within your workspaces. When you interact with the AI, your inputs (text prompts and workspace context) are sent to our AI providers solely for the purpose of generating a response.
5.2 Data Privacy (No Training): We value your privacy and intellectual property. We do not, and will not, use the content of your work to train foundation models or any model that could reproduce or memorize it. Your data is sent to foundation models only to generate responses for you, and is not retained or used for training by those providers.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service.
Account Cancellation: If you choose to cancel your subscription, or if your organization's contract ends, we will provide a grace period of 30 days for you to export your data. After this period, your account data and User Content may be permanently deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights (GDPR)

Right of Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
