This includes data on the features you interact with, the time spent on specific parts of your Thinking Spaces, and your navigation paths. International Data Transfers
4.1 Location of Data: Our servers and main operations are located in Toronto, Canada. By creating an account, you acknowledge that your personal data and User Content will be transferred to and processed in Canada.
4.2 Legal Basis for Transfer (EU Users): The European Commission has determined that Canada provides an adequate level of data protection (Decision 2001/520/EC) for data transfers from the EU to recipients subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This means your data is protected by Canadian privacy laws that offer rights comparable to the GDPR. Artificial Intelligence and User Content
5.1 AI Processing: MetabolIQ AI uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate suggestions and content on your Thinking Spaces. When you interact with the AI, your inputs (text prompts and Thinking Spaces context) are sent to our AI providers solely for the purpose of generating a response.
5.2 Data Privacy (No Training): We value your privacy and intellectual property. We do not use your inputs, prompts, or Thinking Spaces data to train our internal AI models. Your data remains isolated and is not used to improve the service for other users.
5.3 Transient Processing: Inputs sent to the AI are retained only transiently to process your request and are not stored permanently by our AI sub-processors for their own machine learning purposes.
Beta Service & Data Retention
6.1 Beta Limitations: You acknowledge that the Service is currently in a "Beta" phase. While we take regular backups, we cannot guarantee the permanent availability of data created during the Beta. We are not liable for any loss of data during this testing phase.
6.2 Retention Period: We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service.
If you choose not to convert to a paid subscription at the end of the Beta, we will provide a grace period of 30 days for you to export your data.
After this period, your account data and User Content may be permanently deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:
Right of Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
